Our Story

The vision for the name Geranba originated from the Geranba Mountain located in the Sidama Zone Arbegona Woreda. The Geranba Mountain is over 3300m above sea level & the bottled water of Geranba Bottling is sourced from the Geranba Mountains Chanche Spring, which provides a refreshing taste reminiscent of water sourced from the rarest highlands, filled with natural minerals and nutrients consumed by nature itself.

We use the highest quality HDP pipe installations and German precision Krone Machines to extract and produce our water to maintain the highest standard. The creation and expansion of Geranba Bottling PLC is expected to create more than 200 permanent and 500 temporary employment opportunities to local residents.

Geranba Bottling Plc is a company engaged in bottling and distribution of natural spring water in Ethiopia. After successful commissioning of the installation of its bottling machines, it went on production and distribution of the bottled natural spring water with a brand name South Spring to the local and international markets.

The Plant
The plant is located in the southern part of Ethiopia, particularly in the Sidama zone near mount Geramba. The area is not only amazingly covered with ever green natural forests, but also endowed with abundant and sustainable water resources. The bottling plant is harmoniously integrated in to the mountain.
